The Big Cheese was formed in late 2003 in Murray, Kentucky. In the time since, the band has molded it's sound into something that displays virtuosity, intelligence but most importantly, natural expression. The band has always made it's priority in creating more than just a "good sounding" show, they find they're want in creating magic and an equal energy between the listener and the musician. "We're just doing what has always felt most natural to us; we were listeners before this whole jive started...we've learned how to create a sound that is very emotionally dynamic, but is as natural as breathing." says Jordan Steiner - bass, vocals

The Cheese has developed a very devout following geared around having the best time of their life's. These days it's very strange to see such energy, passion, and soul in people as you see in the fans at The Big Cheese shows. Why is everyone so into The Big Cheese? "These guys are very musically diverse." Says longtime fan Kimberly Griffin, "During one set you could hear blues, jazz, southern rock, jams and even a little rap as well. Personally, that's what keeps me coming back; you never know what you will get from these three."

The Big Cheese passion is in what they do, and it roars beautifully through the music they make.
